Win a SIGNED paperback of SLAMMED by Colleen Hoover!!

**Please note: this giveaway is now over. The winner is announced in the Rafflecopter below and has also been contacted via email.**

My 2 favoritest books written by my favoritest author are now going to be my favoritest movies!!!!  (I know favoritest isn't a word, but bare with me, I'm a little excited.)

Okay, okay...so the books aren't technically guaranteed to become a movie...yet...but both SLAMMED and POINT OF RETREAT by Colleen Hoover have been optioned for film.

What does this mean?
When someone options your book for film, it means they pay you for a particular period of time to give them a chance to turn that book into a feature film. If, during that option period, the screenplay/director are not complete, the rights revert back to the author, and the producer has to sign a new contract to continue. (I stole that description from Colleen herself.)

I have a feeling about this one though.  I've had a feeling about it from the minute I read it. I knew it was gonna be big and since then both books have hit the top 100 bestseller list in both Amazon and Barnes and Noble, were on the NYT bestseller's list, got picked up by a publisher and now they have been optioned for film. That is some track record!

So...if you are reading this and going "What are SLAMMED and POINT OF RETREAT?"...we simply cannot be friends.  Just kidding. I will let you redeem yourself. You can check out my review of Slammed HERE and Point of Retreat HERE. I also have an interview I did with Colleen HERE. Then you can go out and buy them because in celebration of the books getting optioned for film (by the way, I love saying that..."optioned for film") the ebooks for both are:

...whichever snazzy marketing copy sounds better to you. They all mean the same thing ---> you get a great book at a great price. Actually 2 books, because I know you are going to buy both of them. Right? Believe me, you can't buy one without the other, you will kick yourself later and I cannot be held responsible for that.

Go HERE to find links to buy the books. And hurry because this is limited time and I don't want you to miss out!

AND...I'm not done...

I also have the honor of giving away a SIGNED paperback of Slammed. Let me tell you, this is something you want! It will be worth money someday. Okay, I can't guarantee that but how cool would it be to have a signed copy of the book that is to become the next greatest movie? I know...I can't guarantee that either...don't squash my dreams, okay?

I'll give you a chance to win the book in a minute. Bear with me for just awhile longer. First I want to put a plug in for who I think should play Will Cooper and Layken Cohen.  I want to premise that I have no clue if either of these people are great actors, they just fit the image of Will and Layken in my head.

So for Will, I think that Josh Bowman would be a good fit.

Just look at him.  Isn't he the perfect Will? (Oh wait...you haven't read the book yet? You best be scrolling back up and clicking that link to buy.)

And for Layken, I choose Jane Levy.

I really have no explanation why, she is just the perfect Layken for me. Period.

So, about that signed book...

Use the nifty little raffelcopter below to enter for a SIGNED paperback copy of the greatest book ever written. There are many ways to get entries such as Facebook, Twitter, and leaving a comment, but I'm also going to give you a chance to win if you buy the book for yourself or for someone else. That's right, if you've read it and loved it, why not gift it to your mom, or your sister, or your best friend, or your cousin's mom's best friend's sister. If you do gift it, you must send me an email at melissa_mosloski [at] yahoo [dot] com with a copy of the reciept for that entry to count.

And with that, I leave you to compete for the signed book. Good luck!

  21. I haven't read the book yet, so I don't know who should play the characters.

  22. You know I really haven't thought about who should play Will and Lake. I think what I am really concerned with is that who ever plays them will be good actors and that the movie sticks with much of the story and will evoke the same kind of emotions that Slammed and Point Retreat out of me when I read the books.

    Thanks for the giveaway!
